After more than 14 months of continuous effort, we’re proud to announce that Power Analytics Software, and all our software products and services, are compliant with all applicable NERC CIP cyber-security regulations. John Noegel, Director of Technology Development, spear-headed this initiative inside PAS. John writes, “Our commitment is to continually develop with with security in mind (DevSecOps). Our commitment is to continue to actively improve our security position.”
While most of our security improvements will go un-noticed, some of them have the additional bonus of making our programs easier to install, use, and update… Thanks to a deep integration with Microsoft and DigiCert, PAS’ improvements in security go hand-in-hand with operational improvement and ease-of-use. Expect more subtle improvements coming soon!
